It's useless...
A BRIEF FAREWELL
Now that it's been demonstrated beyond any shadow of doubt that the Republican Party is corrupt to the core, through & through, and that a large majority of Democratics are no better, it is abundantly clear that there is nothing this one-eyed cat with the twice-broken-tailed can do to save the country from self-destructing.
With that in mind, I am returning to my once-upon-a-time rule-for-living, ie "Ignorance is Bliss". ergo I have decided to follow Secret Attack Squirrel and his merry crew into the mindless bliss of utter ingnorance concerning politics...in other words, I am "tuning out": no more news; no more web-surfing for news; no more commentary on the failing state of this collapsing Union; and no more on-line attempts at activism.
Heaven save US, for we are DOOMED!
